Doug Couture has been handling insurance claims in Texas since 1984, starting his career with Farmers Insurance Group in Corpus Christi, TX.
In 1987 Doug was promoted to the Farmers Insurance Group Regional Office in Austin, TX, to serve as Liability Staff Specialist for the South Texas Region.
Subsequently in 1990 Doug was promoted to the Farmers Claims Office in Beaumont, TX where he supervised Liability Adjusters in East TX as well as Independent Adjusters for all Farmers Claims occurring in the state of Louisiana.
In 1994 Doug was transferred to the Farmers Satellite Office in Corpus Christi, TX as the sole local management individual in that office.
In 2000 Doug left Farmers Insurance and managed The Littleton Group Claims Office in Corpus Christi, TX, a position he held for 13 years.
Doug has worked with Insurance Companies and Agencies throughout the United States as well as London, England and Canada.
